The Mother’s Day You Actually Want

These Terms and Conditions apply to “The Mother’s Day You Actually Want” Raffle (“the Raffle”), conducted by Newcastle Multiple Birth Club Inc. (NMBC), a registered charity in New South Wales (ABN: [insert ABN]).

By purchasing a ticket, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Raffle is open to residents of the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter region, NSW.
1.2 Entrants of all ages may participate; however, if a winner is under 18, the prize will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian.
1.3 NMBC committee members may purchase tickets but will not participate in the draw process.

2. Ticket Sales

2.1 Tickets are $5 AUD each and are sold online via Square:

2.2 There is no cap on the total number of tickets sold.

2.3 Tickets are non-refundable except as required by law.

2.4 At the time of purchase, entrants will be asked to select their preferred prize ranking.

3. Prizes

3.1 There are five (5) major prizes:

• Half-Day Home Reset Session (valued at $500)
• Mini Photography Session (valued at $350)
• Massage Services (valued at $350)
• Meal Delivery Service (valued at $200)
• 3-Hour Home Clean (valued at $191.40)

Total prize pool: $1,591.40 AUD

3.2 Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

3.3 Each prize is supplied by an independent business. NMBC is not responsible for the delivery, scheduling, or quality of services provided by prize sponsors.

3.4 Winners must liaise directly with the prize provider to redeem their prize, subject to the provider’s availability and terms.

3.5 In the unlikely event a prize becomes unavailable, NMBC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

4. Bonus Giveaway (Social Promotion)

4.1 Three (3) additional prizes of $100 vouchers will be awarded separately via social media promotions.

4.2 Entry to these bonus giveaways is via actions such as liking, commenting, tagging, or sharing promotional posts.

4.3 These bonus prizes are drawn independently from the main raffle and do not require ticket purchase.

5. Draw Details

5.1 The Raffle opens on Thursday 30 April 2026 and closes on Sunday 31 May 2026.

5.2 The draw will take place on 31 May 2026, conducted online.

5.3 Winners will be selected using a random number generator.

5.4 Five (5) winners will be drawn.

5.5 Prize allocation will occur as follows:

• The first winner drawn selects their first available preferred prize
• The second winner selects from the remaining prizes
• This continues until all prizes are allocated

5.6 The decision of NMBC is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Winner Notification & Prize Redemption

6.1 Winners will be contacted via the email or phone number provided at purchase within 48 hours of the draw.

6.2 Winners must respond within a reasonable timeframe to confirm their prize selection.

6.3 Prizes are to be redeemed directly with the relevant provider and may be subject to availability, booking requirements, and expiry dates set by the provider.

6.4 NMBC is not responsible for delays or issues in redeeming prizes with third-party providers.

7. Unclaimed Prizes

7.1 NMBC will make reasonable efforts to contact winners.

7.2 If a prize is not claimed within 3 months, it will be deemed unclaimed.

7.3 A redraw will occur in accordance with NSW Fair Trading guidelines.

8. Use of Funds

8.1 All funds raised will support NMBC programs, services, events, and resources for families with multiples (twins, triplets, and more).

9. Privacy

9.1 Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of administering the Raffle.

9.2 Information will not be sold or shared, except where required by law or to administer the draw.

9.3 Entrants may receive NMBC updates and can opt out at any time.

10. Legal Compliance

10.1 This Raffle complies with NSW Fair Trading Charitable Fundraising Guidelines.

10.2 As the total prize pool is under $30,000, no permit is required in NSW.

10.3 Entrants are responsible for ensuring their participation complies with local laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 NMBC, its volunteers, and affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Raffle or use of any prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

11.2 NMBC is not responsible for technical issues affecting ticket purchases or the draw.
